For every new recurring expense in life, create an extra income stream and you will never run out of money.
For larger expenses in life, start early.
Plan for it at least 5 years in advance and build a new source of income so you can buy it outright.
Do not buy things until you have the entire money saved up for it.
Avoid debt at all costs.
