Every night, when my 6yr old son & 2yr old daughter start going to bed, they tend to creep into my bed first and want me to tell them a story.
By now, we’ve already gone through all the story books we’ve bought for them. (and those were expensive story books)
They now ask for something new.
They have “custom story requirements”.
They want to hear a story about something that happened in their day.
Or something that they wish could happen.
But – after a long day of work.
My creative juices are not flowing anymore.
So when ChatGPT came out…
I had this idea to make a story with it.
It worked but was not the best.
We got a few stories but they were not exactly kid friendly stories.
So, I decided to turn this into a weekend project.
After a few weeks of hacking away.
I made the first prototype.
Then to make it easier and more accessible.
I made it run on WhatsApp.
Yes – WhatsApp.
I hate having to install new apps on my phone for every little thing.
So I decided to make it super easy to use.
And I made it completely FREE.
It’s called Stories by Molly
(why not impress the wife at the same time)
If you have kids (or grandkids) – this is a very cool way to make stories for them.
These are PERSONALIZED stories, that means the kid can become the hero of the story and that is the best feature for my kids.
