Here are the tools I use on a regular basis to build, grow and run my business (and my life)…
Tools I have made for myself…
- FindCentral – this is a quick tool I made to find a central location to meetup with friends. Helps save time and face less traffic for each person. Google maps could not do this so feel free to use it for yourself.
- MyLinkd.in – a URL shortener for Linkedin that converts long easy to forget URL given to you by linkedin into a short memorable, easy to type URL. Completely free to use.
Tools for Business
- Trello – Use it as my idea bucket, move the idea from seed stage to a complete product eventually.
- Evernote – For quick note taking, write down emails or write ideas that later expand into my idea bucket on Trello.
- Who.is – to find out who owns a certain domain / dig out domain data – nice clean interface with no popups
- Auphonic – to make regular audio recordings and podcast recordings sound professional.
- ShareDrop – to share files across devices without installing any apps or software just like Airdrop.
- AudioMass – fully free online audio editor that works in your browser. I also like to use Editor.Audio sometimes.
- WithTelescope – Amazing SEO Tool for keyword research and ranking.
- Analytics & Website Tracking – I like to use a few free ones that work better than Google analytics. BiasML, Umami and GoatCounter.
- Extract Slides from a Video File – https://slideextract.com/
Tools to Improve Personal Life
- I have been enjoying using Timebox built by an indiehacker I stumbled upon on reddit. Very cool tool.
